DRU YOGA
What makes Dru Yoga so special?
Dru
Yoga is based on soft, flowing movements, directed
breathing and visualisation. It works on your
body, mind and heart - improving strength and
flexibility, creating core stability, building a
heightened feeling of positivity. You will
experience Dru Yoga as deeply relaxing and rejuvenating
to your whole being.
Dru Yoga emphasises:
- Movements that are gentle & flowing, posing
no strain on the body whilst toning and stretching
all the body's systems
- Is easy to learn; anyone can enjoy it whatever
their age and state of fitness
- A fun approach for all - it's not just exercise!
The physical movements are enhanced by the use of breathing
techniques, mudras (hand gestures), affirmations, meditation
and concentration techniques, visualization and relaxation.
Through this eclectic approach, Dru Yoga presents itself
as a truly holistic therapy.
Use it not only to maintain optimum health but to complement
other therapies in treating a wide variety of health
issues.
Energy Block Release (EBR)
A hallmark of Dru Yoga are Energy Block Release which are specifically designed
to release stuck energy at all levels of our being and
directly influence the subtle energy channels.
Practicing these movements, the body is
strengthened almost effortlessly helping to develop
tremendous control around our joints - an important
key to managing any musculo-skeletal problems.
The sequences also energise us, and because self-awareness
develops so naturally in yoga, the benefits are incorporated
into our daily lives very quickly.
Dru Yoga is successful because it:
- Meets people's needs at every level
- Is easy to learn; anyone can enjoy it whatever
their age and state of fitness
- Is highly effective at reducing stress and fatigue
and enables people to relax
-
Can
be tailored to meet individual needs to rebalance
and revitalize body, mind and emotions
